This past weekend The University of Maine Softball team travelled to Tennessee. Despite our losing record I feel that we accomplished a-lot of growing as a team, which is one of the main reasons we have a "preconference" schedule.
Anyways, being in Tennessee with the only communication to the outside world was through technology I found out just how much we all depend on it while away. I was able to check my online courses, check out pictures and of course facebook while in Tennessee miles from here.
Anyways I will see you all later, I need to take a nap.

Haha I will comment on this one. AGREED that it was a weekend to shake off some cobwebs and grow as a team, but it was a good trip. I also agree about the technological connection we had to use through our computers. I was able to check posted grades, chat with other friends from school and home and look at pictures. I can not imagine what I would have done if I hadn't brought it along. I nearly went through with drawl when one of my teammates borrowed it.
